Born on 10th January 1958 in Bareilly, Alok Kumar Agarwal Alankit completed his education as a chartered accountant. Alok Kumar Agarwal Alankit was awarded for excellence in e-commerce & Humanitarian work in 2019 by the govt. of UAE. Carrying over 38 plus years of rich experience in finance, Alok Kumar Agarwal was awarded ‘Maximum New Demat’ Accounts generation in 2013 and for the highest value of shares in Demat a/c for 2014. Also, awarded ‘Star Performer 2015’ for being the Top Performer in active accounts of NSDL.

Alok Kumar Agarwal is credited with having founded Alankit Group. Under his leadership, the Alankit Company he founded became one of India’s market leaders and a widely renowned name. Mr. Alok Kumar Agarwal is an insightful businessman with an unending love for numbers (as he is a Chartered Accountant by profession) who was willing to take risks and was aware of the importance of marketing. Moreover, he understood the need to build inventories in order to generate income. Armed with this knowledge, he decided to launch Alankit Group, which takes care of multiple products and services serving all the angles of the financial, e-Governance, Insurance Broking, and Healthcare sectors.

When Alok Kumar Agarwal  Alankit realised that his company had gone as far as it could in terms of financial products and services, he began focusing on other services such as e-Governance, Insurance Broking, and Healthcare.

In 2014, Alok Kumar Agarwal decided to hand over the Company’s day-to-day functioning to his son – Mr. Ankit Agarwal; however, he continued to oversee the Company until 2021, when he finally stepped down as the Chairman of the Group.
