Food for Thought: An Invitation to Discover, Connect and Share
For your chance to win one of three $100 Amazon Gift Cards, simply sign up and share your food recovery story to the Food for Thought community. Read on for full details.
What makes sharing a story so special is that we all have a different experience and a different perspective – and each of our stories is worth sharing. And when these experiences are linked together by an initiative as inspiring as Compass Group’s food recovery efforts, these personal stories become something extraordinary.
At Compass Group, food recovery is a key initiative that we invest into help build a sustainable future and support those in need. This is why it’s so important that we understand every role that someone plays in the food recovery process, no matter how big or how small that role may be.
But more to the point, Compass Group also recognizes that these food recovery initiatives can’t exist without the tireless efforts of so many passionate people. Similarly, and sadly, these programs would not exist if there weren’t people out there who didn’t have a need for them. So no matter how you are involved, whether you volunteer your time to deliver excess food, or accept donations from a local food pantry, Compass wants to ensure that you have a voice, and that your story is heard.
So we invite you to participate in Food for Thought, the storytelling community focused on Compass Group’s food recovery efforts. Take the opportunity to explore what the Compass Group is doing with food recovery, check out other people’s unique perspectives and experiences, and perhaps even share a story of your own.
And to thank you for your participation, each story contributor will be automatically entered into a drawing for one of three $100 Amazon gift cards. To enter, simply contribute a story to the Food for Thought community by 11:59 PM (ET) December 2nd, and three randomly selected winners will each receive a $100 Amazon gift card. Winners will be announced December 12th, with their Share More Stories user names published on the Food For Thought Community site and on the Share More Stories social media pages.
